Why a flower?

My intention was to not only focus on a single flower everyday, but also to experience that one flower on that particular DAY.

And then to repeat this exercise, every day, Like a prayer. That experiencing a different flower each day one could make a daily connection to Nature, to life, to a moment in time.

Mika Hadar

Is a poet, an artist and a leading teacher in the Mind-Body integration fields.

After reading literature and philosophy at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, she studied art, painting and mind-body practices in London and Italy.  In 1993, she established Mika Studio in north London, offering training courses in Subtle Yoga, Alexander Technique, Meditation and Flower Colour Therapy. She now divides her time between London and Tel Aviv, and teaches around the world.

Her work is based on the power of intense observation, expressed with patience and restraint.
